ISMS SERVER - APPLICATION SAMPLES

Following is examples of groups of applications that can easily be implemented
using the ISMS server.
User originated SMS
SMS Update
Updating a database or an application from a SMS message. (Mono session)
SMS Query
Being able to query a database or an application from a SMS request. (Single session)
SMS Chat
A chat (text based messaging) sequence between a user with a phone and a user with a
desktop or laptop connected to the enterprise network. (Multi session)
SMS Email Gateway:
From SMS to Email (mono session)
Query for number of mails in inbox, with subdivision in alert, or from sender etc. (Single session)
Retrieval of headers from emails and replies (multi session)
Remote Server Management
A single or multi session application where one or many SMS messages have to be
sent back and forth before a server is managed after a breakdown. Examples include
question forms, and diagnostic routines, etc.
SMS Forms (future)
An Application running on the mobile device can easily communicate with the SMS
Query program to deliver forms based information and database updates.
Server originated SMS
SMS Broadcasting
When the company wants to send the same SMS to one or many receivers, Examples
include advertising messages, employee information etc. (Session type depends on
the application)
Server Management Requests
Modern servers are equipped with self-diagnosis routines and can if programmed correctly,
request an intervention from the network administrator.
SMS Email Gateway:
From SMS to Email (Mono or Single session)
SMS notification of Emails received, for example based on priority.
