ISMS SERVER - ARCHITECTURE

The ISMS employs a simple architecture that is easy to set up and manage.
Terminology:
User is a user or a mobile SMS capable device. This may be a customer,
a supplier, employee, or any business partner whom you have given access
to your SMS applications.
Modem is a SMS capable device (for example a Nokia 5110 phone) attached
through a data cable (for example Nokia DAU-9P) to ISMS. It should also
have a SIM card. Please refer to Appendix A for modem options.
ISMS Server is a computer running on Integrated SMS Server software.
Client is a desktop or a set of computers connected to the ISMS Server via the
Local or Wide Area Network. This computer will be used to either send a message
from your desktop to any SMS user or to view the log files of the ISMS Server.
Network Server can be your existing database server, web server or mail server.
