ISMS SERVER - OVERVIEW

The ISMS Server works as a gateway between the mobile network and your company intranet.
Mobile users can access data from your intranet and computers on your intranet can
send messages to mobile devices.
The ISMS Server works on a very simple architecture. Thus, it is easy to understand
and implement. It uses Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server) as the application
engine making it easy to integrate with your existing business applications. All that
is needed is a PC server and modem with a SIM card. A maximum of 16 modems may be used
at the same time corresponding to specific functionality or application. It is noteworthy
that multiple applications may be made available by using only a single modem.
The ISMS server comes with a good number of sample applications. Some of
these are: send and receive most urgent emails thru SMS; execute remote
server management; send advertising campaign to a target audience; reply
to inquiry of customers and business partners; send alerts to your administrators;
and many more.
There are many opportunities in bringing information to the company's
mobile workforce and customers. Writing new SMS applications for the
ISMS Server is the same as writing a HTML or ASP page for your website.
The ISMS Server provides security filter on where you may define from
the server side, the users whom you will allow exclusive access to
specific information. On the other hand, you will opt to have security
filter off for applications where any of your customers will have access.
Please note that the security filter on or security filter off cannot be set
up in the same modem.
The reporting feature of ISMS Server allows you to keep the mobile
telephone numbers of your customers connecting to your system and will
then allow you to send them latest information like promos, new products,
among others. It will also give you data on the level of activity of your
wireless applications.
